Indiana Tangible Business Personal Property Tax

Each business in Indiana is required to report the amount of business property they own each and every year.

For example if you are a Realtor who works out of your home you might report that your business owns a laptop computer, a desk, a chair, several filing cabinets, a printer, a digital camera, and a scanner.

These forms are due to your Township Assessor by May 15th of each year.  Most Indiana Townships do not allow extensions to be filed; they insist that the returns be filed by May 15th.

The Assessor will bill you for your tax due.

If you have any questions about your personal property taxes please give Mike a call at 260-338-0833.
